（中央社記者林宏翰台北30日綜合報導）史上第一次，美國職棒大聯盟的比賽將搬進軍事營區，全場1萬2500個座位只給現役軍人，馬林魚外野手葉立奇（Christian Yelich）的弟弟在海軍陸戰隊服役。

在軍營裡面打球，馬林魚外野手葉立奇從3月就開始期待，「在春訓的時候知道後，我就為這一天感到興奮。等著這一天來到，希望到時候部隊裡的官士兵能夠享受這場比賽，享受這一天，希望他們也一樣興奮」。
在美國國慶日前一天的7月3日舉行，由邁阿密馬林魚對亞特蘭大勇士，這場歷史性的第一戰為了向軍人致敬，將由ESPN在美國全國轉播。

美國媒體報導，這場比賽只限現役軍人及家屬進場，門票記名登記、不得轉售。為此有球迷在網路上徵球票，貼文說他看過美國大聯盟51個球場的比賽，願意花1000美元（新台幣3萬元）找現役軍人帶他進場。

布拉格堡基地軍方則表示，將會嚴格查驗門票，只要發現門票轉手，不管有沒有買賣，當場就會把觀眾請出場，並追查這張門票的所有人。而且到時候是按照各單位入座，想要摸魚進場很快就會被抓。
這座臨時搭建的球場位於北卡羅來納州的布拉格堡（Fort Bragg）軍事營區，美國大聯盟與球員工會耗資500萬美元（新台幣1.6億元）打造，花費3個月的時間蓋在一塊舊高爾夫練習場上，擁有1萬2500個座位。
